Default Children's play sand, is this safe?

I was told you can use some children's play sand for hamsters for fur baths so I got some and put on the over for 40 mins just to be extraaa safe and it just looks a bit too dark I dunno if that matters or not like is it safe to use idk

Just wanted to make sure before I use it

That should be fine,as long as it's been properly sifted along with the baking you've already done.Sand, being a natural product, can have a variety of colors so I wouldn't worry about it being a bit dark(not sure if the oven would affect the color too much though, but it's certainly a possibility!).
