Re: Neighbors v2
I would like to just have faith in his very non violent personality and say to myself that even if he did get in nothing would happen, but you're right. It's not safe.
How would you do it? I don't have substrate for a full swap, and won't have it for about a week. I do, however, have for a bin I could put Tiki in temporarily, so there is no risk to her, then make the full swap in about a week. I don't trust romeo in a bin without lid. He is notorious for getting out.

Re: Neighbors v2
I was thinking if you move Tiki. Then Romeo could have the whole detolf. You may have to have less substrate for a little while.
Tiki could take all the substrate from her side and then once the divider is removed Romeo's substrate could be spread out. You could leave the divider in until you have more substrate.

Re: Neighbors v2
The bin is only 80 liters unfortunately. Not big enough for permanent housing. We have an undivided detolf, where Zelda is. I think we might have to swap them.

Re: Neighbors v2
That would be worth a try. Romeo moves to a whole detolf and Zelda goes in the hale that Romeo was in.
Just check the divider is still secure to keep the two apart.

Re: Neighbors v2
Exactly. And maybe figure out a way to cover the glass before she moves in, just to be sure.

Re: Neighbors v2
I was just about to say cover the glass divider. Although they may still smell each other. I wonder if Tiki is in heat and Romeo was living up to his name.

Re: Neighbors v2
It's not impossible. He did seem to have gotten over it for a while, so maybe..
