I have given up on it as it is so roaringly expensive. Prob. going to get the alexander or make up the wooden one that is in the garage. (Flimsy wood so not 100 per cent sure about it).

AprilPearl - the other thing I blame my problems on is Trump. He seems to go against a lot of things I believe in. Not so much #BritishProblems though.

What about the Savic Plaza Knockdown (or whatever it's called)? That would make a nice cage with wonderful access. I think the Alexander and Barney are on sale at the moment though.

Yes they are very expensive! I think I would go with the Alexander or Savic Plaza. Most Syrians seem to love the Alexander and it has the same floor area as the Savic Plaza. Access is better on the savic Plaza but you need extra shelves probably. It is frustrating when you want something bigger than 100 x 50 without paying extortionate amounts.

If you're wanting something with a deeper base as well, for lots of digging it does limit it to tank style or your wood cage I guess. Is he a chewer?

Or how about the Sky rat? You get a front opening door on the lower cage and lots of space.

I think they just import it from Germany (It's the Carlos in Germany)

Or - how about the Speedy Gonzales? It's the same as your Borneo, but comes with a couple of shelves and it ships to the Uk. Works out at £91 approx (not sure how much the postage is - maybe another £10 to £15).

Just ordered him the alexander. The sky rat looks good but went for the old ally in the end.

Good choice I actually don't mind the small front doors now, I've got used to it, and it helps stop Newtie leaping out with a smaller door

Robin is in the elmo which has small doors. He manages to squeeze out when i open one up to hand out yummies! He had raw carrot tonight, as did Kashi. They were most impressed.

I dont mind the small doors but the borneo is soooooo easy to clean compared to the barney and elmo. Oh well.
