Default Switching from woodshavings to Fitch

Hello,

I have just received my huge 20kg of Fitch, it seems great. When is the best time to change my hammy over from woodshavings to the Fitch? We have had her for about 2.5 weeks and she has been in her current cage for just over a week. I don't want to unsettle her with too many changes in too short a time span.

Thanks!

Are you changing to fitch because she has an allergy to the wood shavings? If not, I think it would probably be best to change over a little at a time so that it still smells familiar to her, like you would do for a partial cage clean.

I started out with woodshavings not really knowing there were alternatives. I don't think she has an allergy, she does scratch quite a bit but I don't know if that's related. I more want to change as I'm happier with it as a substrate.

I will do it gradually then
