Default Substrate/ bedding

Hi,
I use Carefresh natural for my hamster but recently I have noticed that it is quite dusty. I thought carefresh was supposed to be very safe and I just wanted to check if there is any better alternatives? Thank you!

It really depends what part of the world you're from If you are in the UK, Fitch is definitely the superior substrate, but if you're in the US, Kaytee clean and cozy would be your best option! There are several different aspects you'll want to keep in mind when choosing which bedding that suits you, such as

-isn't dusty
-eco friendly
-safe
-Comfortable
-economical
-absorbent
-odor control
-burrowability

There are lots of options available so make sure to find what suits you and your hamster best!
