Question PlastiKote question!!

Yay!! I managed to find the proper stuff. Found it on B&M. I'm going to do all Teddy's wooden bits in his cage tonight. My question is about his wheel. It's a Karlie Flamingo wheel so although it's wooden, the bit he runs on is cork. Do I Plastikote the cork bit? I assume I do as that is the bit he would most likely be peeing on but does it work on cork??
