does it cause stress to Hamsters if you change there cage?

We bought Alvin a new cage as his bin cage was knackered! But it seems quite small so we thinking of getting him another one. Would 2 changes within a month be too much stress? x

I think he will be OK as long as he seems quite laid back. Perhaps you could start by letting him play in the new cage then after a few plays you could move his dirty bedding and some of his familar toys with him to his new cage?
I think it will be more stressful being cramped when he is used to a big bin cage.
