Re: need help choosing a new cage for my syrian hamster
Brilliant! Is this just a trial time or do you think you will leave him there? I think at first they get very excited and then get a bit panicky about leaving the old cage, so it could be an idea to let him go back to his old cage after a play in the Barney, for another night and then move him in permanently. But if he likes it a lot and doesn't show signs of wanting to come out then he'll probably be fine in there. Photos please! Of Brian in his new cage

Re: need help choosing a new cage for my syrian hamster
I put him in last night aporox 9pm and i went bed at 12 so in them 3hrs not once did he bite the cage or anything
The only things i did notice is
1. Il need to get some sort of clips to hold his trixie wheel in olace. When he is on it its sliding cross the bar haha but then he turns around so it slides opposite way. I bet he knows it doe haha
2. He can slide between his house andthe cage lol but the houses is as far inthe corner as it will do
3. O he now thinks he a rocj climber and monkey. He keeops climbing uo the sides and monkey barringhaha

So did he stay in it last night then? If so I guess he's built a nest by now.

Aw he looks lovely in there So much space for him. The cage is looking nicely done too. Looks like you kept his old food bowl from the other cage maybe - which is a nice idea as it's something familiar for him.
