Maybe if you moved the sputnik further forwards to the ladder end you could put the hammock over the shelf at the back - somewhere to sit where he can't fall out of it. So the opening part of the hammock faces forwards? It's looking good as it is - just a chew or two and food bowl and water bottle.

You could maybe put the medium sized bendy bridge in the front right corner as a kind of hide.

I like these water bottles - I get two at a time to save on postage and it's good to have a spare. They have a little clip that attaches to the bars inside, so you lift the bottle in and out of the clip easily - it's easier than trying to get a bottle spout through the narrow bars.

This is the only place I know that sells them (Amazon sellers do sometimes but at silly prices). I like them because they let water out well but don't seem to leak and drip like a lot of them.

Or you could put his food bowl on top of the house - he can climb up to the roof on the bendy bridge tunnel.

yes I was thinking about putting the medium bendy bridge in the front right corner but I thought brian may pee their but il just wait until I know whwere he peeds then I can place his potty in that location.

im buying some cable ties tonight so can you give me some ideas for the savic tunnel not sure where to put that.

currently iv just placed the hyacinth tunnel in the middle of the cage on top of the substrate, didn't know where else to place it lol

Oh good point about the pee corner. Yes wait and see. You can always put the medium bendy bridge in later. Hyacinth tunnel looks fine where it is. It's good to have one near the house like that so if he feels a bit overwhelmed the first week or so he can just dive into a tunnel - and then the cork tunnel lol.

Savic tube - don't know really. I've had it just as a tube to run through on one end of the cage, and also had it as a way of connecting two things to make an extra run.

Maybe you could put another rat sputnik in the front right corner and tie the savic tube to the roof so it leads from the house roof to the sputnik? Then the extra sputnik would also provide overhead cover in that corner (whether he uses it as a toilet or not). Not sure if the tube would be too high to climb into at the house end though.

Or - similar idea - another rat sputnik in the front right corner with the tube tied to the roof running along the front, just above the front doors, and ending up at the shelf so he can step out onto the shelf.

You just need to keep a check on the cable ties that they don't get chewed! Or it could fall down. Mine never got chewed, and unlikely he would chew through both ends in one go.

They're the ones I like best. The classic mouse bottles are also popular but I found the Ferplast drinkys seemed to last a bit longer and work a bit better for me. They have a slightly thicker metal spout than most of the others - not sure if that makes a difference. But yes I find they let water out well without leaking. Have had the odd one that wasn't as good but have had a few now and all been good, I also really like the cage clip they come with as it makes taking the bottle in and out really easy.
