Just looked them up - FOP Gimmy does look good and would fit. Not bad price either - found it for £28.69 with £3.75 postage.

I couldn't resist I put in a bid on the Cambridge on eBay I do like that cage, there were some at the rescue I worked at, and they seemed very spacious.

I think I'm just being a silly-hamster-mummy about this. I think if Phoebs was a smaller hamster I wouldn't feel so bad.

The Cambridge is good Emma if I wasn't a Ferplast snob right now I would probably get some but as long as I can keep getting Ferplast Rainbows I am sticking with those - I like the large top opening and two front doors so I can stack them and still get planty of access. The Cambridge only has normal small hamster doors. Good Luck and be careful as once you get another cage it will leave this one empty for another little one to enter your heart...

I wish! There's no space - empty cages live under the stairs this year

Yeah the Cambridge would be no good for stacking either because they have curved roof.

Silly eBay sucks you in - I just upped my bid

Well......I didn't win the eBay bid, but I am SO bad!!!

We just went to Ikea to get some stuff for my other half's house, and there's a Pets at Home next door......popped in just to get 1 or 2 things, and they had the Cambridge on the shelf right next to the Laura. Space wise there's just no comparison, and buying it from P@H was actually cheaper than the cheapest online place I found once you factor in postage. So guess what - Phoebe has for an early xmas present!!

I am so bad.

Ha Ha I am the same, no self control at all.

I can walk past clothes and furniture shops no problem. But pet shops are another thing. I will find any excuse to justify spending loads of money on my wee furries

What a lucky hammie, I am sure she will be chuffed to bits with her new house.
