You're right, the extra depth does make it a really good floorspace. 57cm is really good for depth. And it is much cheaper than buying a tank with the added bonus of bars at the top and a lid! Which you don't get with a tank. And tanks are all top opening. So it's better than a tank if used as a tank style with deep substrate. I wish I needed a new cage now as well! Although I wish it had 7mm bar spacing! Only because we live in a mousey area - it's fine for most hammies.

Thanks for sharing SKB it is a nice looking cage. I like the fact that it has white bars. I'd be tempted to get it for Boris if it was a little narrower, at 57cm it would be a bit too wide to fit.
