Question Pets at home woodlands twiggy treats

hiya was wondering if anyone has used the woodland twiggy treats with their hamsters. I saw them whilst shopping for supplies yesterday and wanted to try them but was unsure whether my hamsters would use them. Has anyone used them before or could tell me if they think they would be suitable for my WW hamsters.Xx

I haven't tried the woodland twig mix but I have used other similar wood chew sticks & never had a dwarf ham remotely interested tbh!
I generally use whimzees & the occasional half a biscrok dog biscuit for chews.

I've never found that my hamsters have taken to the wooden chews either, they seem to prefer the Whimzees or the Biscrok or in the case of my two female Chinese, cardboard.

I have a friend that has a Russian and he adores them. If you think your ham may enjoy them, then there is no harm in them. They are completely safe, but I think they would be better for something like a guinea pig or rabbit.

Some hamsters love wood, some just use it anyways, and others don't even bother.I thought my female Syrian didn't like wood at first, but I tried holding it for her and she actually chewed wood instead of ignoring it.That is worth trying if you have a hamster which is tame enough to do so,but I can see it being difficult to do with some hamsters.

Rupert, my last Syrian, was the only hamster I've ever had that actually liked to chew on wood. His favourite were the wood chews with the bark still on, he would spend ages stripping it all off.
