Oh that sounds brilliant! A really good find. She will probably try and chew at the bottle hole so try and find something to block that off with (a large nut and bolt would do it or some kind of screw in chew/toy like this one

The maxi duna is a lovely cage. And if you wanted to sell the Hamster Heaven once she is settled, you should get a decent price for it second hand.

Here's a tip:
Get a paper towel and put a little bit of olive oil on it. Then rub it all over the bars of the cage that she chews on. Don't make olive oil dripping from the bars, just make sure that the bars are slightly damp. Hamster hate the taste of olive oil!

I have done that for almost 2 weeks she doesn't care she actually just continues to chew and like it!

I have a what I thought was a duna but not but still huge! Going to do some cleaning of it and mesh lid and make it hamster proof but huge! I think she will really thrive having extra running area she loves running up and down my stairs most evenings!

In order for smooth transition shall I put her bedding an substrate into new cage when ready? She has a potty so is very clean and hides her food in a sand bath!
So after a disinfect and clean will that be ok? To add in her smell!
Also can you mix substrate? Currently she has flitch but want to add some aspen maybe in Oder for her to dig and have lots of fun!!
Sorry for lots of questions just want to give her everything to make her feel great in her new princess's pad!

You can mix substrate. Adding substrate and nesting material from the old cage is useful to help her settle into a new cage.

You can also let her play in it a few times before moving her permanently. Put her existing house, toys, potty in similar places as in the old cage to start with so it will seem familiar.

The new cage may be a zoo zone 1 or 2.

I would let it air for a day or two after disinfecting to help lose any cleaning smells. Put loads of new substrate in the "duna" and add a couple of toys or hidey places or set up any new items/levels/things you intend to put in it, and let her have a play/explore as CMB suggested. If she starts looking a bit frantic then take her out again and pop her back in the old cage. Then another play time in it a day or two later. Having a play/explore in it a couple of times will help her adjust easier when she moves. On the day of the move, leave the new substrate in (it will smell a bit familiar after her exploration trips), but put all her old substrate on top of it. Don't be tempted to clean anything before moving her, just move everything across - old substrate spread out on top of the new (which will make the depth about right possibly if you had plenty of new in) and try and have the layout similar - eg wheel in same position, house in same position and so on. Get it all set up before you move her in so you don't need to move or tweak things for the first couple of weeks while she's settling in.

You could also scatter some food around after setting it up and when you move her in - this will be a bit of a distraction from the change too and she can start nesting and hoarding straight away. Try and salvage her nest and hoard - or most of it - and put it in the place/house you want her to nest, then put a big pile of torn up strips of plain white toilet paper somewhere in the cage - not far from the house maybe, so she can pouch some and rebuild her nest properly.

Sounds like it might be a Zoozone 2 Do you have a photo?

Here it is! Think it an old style zoo zone? Hasn't got any clips for top but I'm going to do something about that! She had a play last night already started rubbing herself all over it! Even went in a new hidey house I bought her!
But I'm really pleased currently meshing lid!

Exciting!

It looks great! I think you're right about it being an old style Zoozone as they used to make them with a white base I think. It looks excellent with that extra door on top! Very handy.
