Keeping warm with bottle
Hello hamster owners
So I saw Erin's animals video
If I get a water bottle and fill with hot water and put a sock over it will be a cheap heating pad. Will this actually work has anyone tried it?
Should I try it ?

Don't put it in the cage but if you have a space under the cage (not touching the actual cage) so the heat rises up into the cage it will help retain warmth in the cage but a hot water bottle doesn't stay warm as long as the heat pads do, I've used both & the snugglesafe pads are far better.

Amazon sells them so you can probably get them elsewhere too.
