Pipe problems
Hello,
My hamster is 5 months old now and her house has a few different laters. There are pipes in the house to help her get around more easily however, I've just put them in again as when she was first brought home, she barricaded herself in them. I've been out for one hour and already she has barricaded herself in with ehr food but she is squeaking away because it's blocked so well that she can't get out.I know this is natural instinct and I want ehr to have the [pipes, but what do you guys recommend I do? Is there anyway to train her to use them just to get around? Maybe have them there but blocked off for a bit?
I w0ouldn't mind her sleeping in them too much if it wasn't gor her getting herself stuck and how quickly the condensation builds up when she's in the pipes.
Thanks

Re: Pipe problems
Just remove them and use another method instead. If the cage can't have anything but those,it honestly isn't suitable to be used anyways and you most likely will be better off investing in an entirely new cage

Re: Pipe problems
I agree it's best to just remove those tubes for good.
You can always give cardboard tubes (check they're big enough) to play in but plastic tubes are best avoided altogether when they sleep, eat & pee in them or get stuck in them, a lot of plastic tubes that come with cages are just too small for syrians anyway.
