Default Shelves / Levels for an Alaska cage?

I want put a level or a shelf in Miranda's Alaska cage as I'm planning on buying her some new stuff for Christmas, I was wondering what levels would be the best for her cage? If someone can recommend some that would be great... I'm also looking for some hammocks but I don't know where to buy them from and what size she would need (she's a syrian) Thank you!

The Ikea Knuff shelf is a really nice, natural-looking wooden shelf. It is actually an office storage thing, but if you remove one side, it becomes a HUGE area to dig and sleep under. It's where my hamster likes to sleep, if he's not in one of his 10 other burrows lol .

Thanks I was actually looking at that not too long ago but I live too far away from an Ikea so I'd have no way of getting one

Some of those are quite tall and you'd need a bendy bridge or something to get up to it But most are big enough for digging under too!

Those steps are quite good but as pinkneon says they might be a bit high.
There are some really good shelves on various sizes that screw onto the bars here although I wouldn't try to fix anything to big or heavy to the alaska bars as they aren't the sturdiest but I have fixed the smaller ones along with things like lava ledges & various other little ledges many times with no problem.

A piece of wood slightly longer/wider than the cage that will fit between the bars can make a shelve (like the ones in the Barney/Alexander cages). Small slots could be cut to help hold it in place even more securely.

If you like the bark wood ones, this one is quite good.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...f_rd_i=desktop

It's 21cm tall, but if you have about 15cm substrate it will only sit 6cm above the substrate, so good to hide under and you could rig up a bendy bridge ladder to climb on top of it. I have one but didn't get round to using it as Charlie's cage is quite full already. I like it.

Screw in shelves - these aren't expensive.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Little-Frie...+friends+shelf

I bought this one recently which is a very nice quality wood shelf and not too thick or heavy - easy to screw in - also a corner shelf and they sell ladders to fit the grooves on the edge. Not the cheapest though, with the postage from Germany.

https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Here it is in Charlie's holiday cage (the corner one on the left. The one at the back is a ranchouse cages shelf. I prefer the German one).

Ranchouse cages on ebay also sell wood shelves in all different sizes, or shelf packs like this one. I like the coloured bendy bridge that screws to the bars.

This is the pack I got

I made DIY shelves in my bin cage, I just cut a square of wood so it would fit in, and then just drilled holes in the plastic a d put in screws. Very easy.
