Default Flash's cage

This is Flash's cage He is a chinese hamster and is 1 and a half years old.
His cage is the zoo zone 1, it is around 458 square inches.
I really want to get him a 100x50 cage but my parents wont let me and think that the cage he is in now is way too big already but I am planing on trying to persuade them in the near future.
(I am new so if anything is wrong with this post please tell me )

Welcome to the forum,...look forward to hearing more about your little one.

Given he is in a zoo zone 1 and a year a half old, if he's comfortable and has space, including out of cage space then I think that's fine. Looking forward to seeing more of flash, and welcome to the forum.

Hi! Welcome to the forum. As Bec said he's lived a lot of his life in that cage and got used to it. Also, chinesesys don't always really like a lot of space. They can quite often feel more comfortable in a smaller cage. There's every chance that he really wouldn't take to such a huge cage at all and could become withdrawn. But I do love little chinesesys so I'm looking forward to learning more about Flash

Hi & welcome to the forum

Looks like Flash has lots of space already there & a nice set up too, I agree with the others, if he's content & enjoying life then I wouldn't try to upgrade him just for the sake of a bit more space which he may not need or be too happy with.

Look forward to hearing more about him, I'm totally smitten with Chinese hams

Thank you for replying everyone, sorry I didn't reply for a while. Flash has sadly passed away a few weeks ago at the age of two. It was really sad but I knew that I rescued him and gave him the best life I could. I have recentally adopted two new hamsters that I have made another post about.
