Default Rodipet

Has anyone bought any of their hamster supplies directly from Rodipet? From what I can make out they do ship within the EU (I only read/write very basic German..)

Is there an upper limit? Is 9,90€ a set price for shipping?

I'm always buying things from Rodipet, way too much
You can use Google translate or Google Chrome will translate automatically which makes things a lot easier.
The delivery is a flat rate however much or little you spend.

Thanks! How long does what you buy take to get to you? I'm tempted to start my ham on the dwarf hamster mix they have, it looks so much better than the stuff we have over here.

(I'm going to be in Germany in December so I'm forcing myself to try to read though the website without too much help to get my skills up.)

Delivery times have varied for me from about a week or just over being the longest to 2 days being super fast!

The dwarf mix is good but quite different to most mixes here so you would need to do a gradual change.
I tried the hybrid mix too but it has a lot of herbage & was too much of a change so mine didn't really take to it.

The mixes would probably be great as an add on,but it is important to make sure that proper nutrition is being given first.Something like Burgess' dwarf mix would be great as a start, and then adding some forage-type foods as well for extra variety. While the Burgess dwarf food is great, their Syrian food isn't really as good as Harry Hamster, but definitely for a dwarf Burgess would be perfect

That's really good. It's about the same amount of time my parrot supplies take to get to me from within the UK.

In your opinion, what do you think are the best products you bought from them? (That reads like a shopping survey question, lol.)

I tried her on the Burgess' dwarf mix (that's what my old dwarfs used to eat) but she's a really fussy eater and leaves half of it, especially the millet. She's on Wagg (because I have been ill recently and haven't been able to get out of town) at the moment with some Burgess' Mountain Meadow Herbs sprinkled on top and mealworms as treats. That's why I was thinking that hybrid dwarf mix might suit her.

Do you know any other brands that do good dwarf food?

You could try Harry Hamster. After reviewing the ingredients list, there isn't added sugar or fruit so it should be perfectly fine even if you end up having to break a few pieces up.It isn't that expensive if it ends up not working for whatever reason, but it is definitely worth a try!

I might give that a try and see what HRH (lol) thinks.

I also found this and I don't know whether to maybe give this a try.

Sorry this thread went off topic a bit...

Honestly it isn't that great,at first it seems impressive but then things go down south with ingredient quality like added animal fats
