questions about Syrians

Yes you slot the stand through the top bars so the base sits on top of the outside top bars, and the stand and spindle below inside the cage, and attach the wheel to the stand inside the cage, then tie the stand in place on top with 2 or 3 cable ties - they spin really well upside down. I'm away from home so can't post a photo but someone else might have one Wodent wheels can be a bit hard to get hold of these days though.

smart idea but why would you buy a new drinking bottle and use the old as a spare?

It's always good to have spare bottles,in case of accidents happening!Plus they do end up being very useful if you need to take a trip or travel and need to have a bottle on hand or to leave with a hamster and things like that.

What Amity said Plus they can stop working properly after a while so a new one would last for a while with the old one as a back-up/spare. I just use the 75ml mouse bottles - they are plenty big enough. The Ferplast Drinky 75ml is my favourite as it seems to let water out well and doesn't leak everywhere.

It comes with a little clip that stays clipped to the bars with the bottle holder part on the inside of the cage, so the bottle just clips in and out of the holder.

is it possible to make something like that? that a hamster will find funny too maybe with some treats or something?

Maybe not exactly like that,but hanging toys are an option if hung safely!Something like a steel kebab(no bells though as those can be very dangerous for tiny toes and such)would be good,but sisal and hemp are also safe to hang things with.No chains since they can cause injury,and no cotton either since it can actually cause severe injury if not death to any animals including hamsters.

You could try putting holes into pieces of wood such as blocks of untreated pine and then stuff them with seeds and other foods and then either leave single pieces of wood in the cage like that,but it would also be good to offer hanging ones as well.

Certain bird toys are good as well as far as hanging toys go,and depending on the toy there may be options of foot toys which are also capable of becoming hamster toys!I'll have to get back with exact links and options but I'm looking right now for any good ones through P@H,I might also check Zooplus but it should be good enough for a general idea anyways.

It might be hard to find a Syrian sized wooden climbing toy that is also big enough to be hidden in but has a solid ramp You could probably modify a plain wooden labyrinth style house or make a DIY wooden labyrinth style house and make a popsicle/ice lolly stick ramp and attach it with pet safe glue such as PVA/Elmer's glue though which might actually be cheaper
