I do prefer the look of wooden substrates, but they are no where near as good value!
I didn't like Carefresh either when I tried some Carefresh ultra, it was so dusty

Willow is long haired and the Fitch gets tangled in her fur although she's a female so she doesn't have a skirt. I do like Back 2 Nature, it was the substrate in my Robos' cage when I got them and it's extremely good for odour control

But yep, I've tried lots of different ones and Finacard definitely works best for me and my hams
Lol I think you did! Tumble fresh is like Carefresh isn't it? I didn't like Carefresh so if it's like that I can see why. The Finacard does sound nice

At the moment mine are on Fitch but I'm switching over to a combination of Fitch and Finacard after getting a small amount in Victoria's carrier when I bought her home and liking it.

It's a lot finer than carefresh. It's really really soft but so dusty. If they find a way to extract more of the dust (and make it a bit cheaper) it would be an absolutely amazing substrate

Is Finacard good for digging?

Hmm that's interesting, might Aubiose be a better option for me then?

Not sure. I have a bag of it somewhere but not got round to trying it! I caved in to Sweep's demands and continued buying Carefresh until we move and have the sotrage space for Fitch! (He never thanked me LOL)

My guys manage to dig quite happily with it. My chinese have no issues tunnelling around under it in their cages lol
