At the moment we're still using Carefresh but somewhere I have a bag of Aspen to try out. We tried the Finacard recently and it didn't seem as soft as I remember and Sweep couldn't dig in it. It also went really soggy when the bottle leaked and it got wet! Carefresh, however, is very expensive - I get the 25.7L bag and use the whole thing, and sometimes a little more, each time. I do not think it expands to 60L though! And it's very expensive!! At the moment I have no room to store anything, let alone Fitch otherwise I'd try that, though I am planning on getting a couple of the 1kg bags (which is the smallest the do) to try - might use in the carrier or play box or something for now. Hopefully once I move I will have a lot more space so can get Fitch! Am still on the lookout for something that is absorbant, doesn't smell and isn't too expensive!!

When I tried Aubiose, I found it to be good for smell, but not very good for absorbency. And then with Fitch it was really absorbent, but terrible for smell!

I'm using kiln-dried shaving (TierWhol super) and a homemade 'carefresh' bedding. Percy is litter trained so I'm not sure how the odour control is

Haha that's what I've found with it, I'm more concerned about smell than absorbency tbh which is why I'm not a big fan of Fitch

Again I found Woodshavings to be not the best for absorbency or odor control. Willow seems to be allergic to them too

I tried making a homemade Carefresh bedding once (ErinsAnimals' new tutorial I think ) and tbh it was the worst bedding I've found for odor control. Absorbency was okay I guess

I found Carefresh to be even worse than Fitch for odor control (absorbency was alright) and it was expensive too - I can't afford to pay £18 for bedding every month!

The Fitch bag is actually quite easy to store as it can compress into different shapes - I have mine in a corner p my mums bedroom with a blanket draped over it so it looks like a beanbag

Walmart's version is actually the same thing by the same company! It's a sneaky little thing to find out,but they're manufactured by Absorption Corp. You have to look closely on the packaging to find it out,but it's just a very random yet interesting fact
