Default Aubiose

Apparently hemp based substrates can work extremely well, has anyone on here had experience with substrates like aubiose? I've been considering switching to it from Carefresh, which gets pricey, and doesn't do a great deal to keep smell down.

Default Re: Aubiose

I think Aubiose can be a bit sharp & or dusty, I use a combination of hemp & fitch with mine although I have used hemp on it's own too.
I've found the hugro hemp to be the softest, not the cheapest but a bag still goes a long way.
Fitch is recycled paper which comes in rather large bags but if you have the space to store it then it's really economical & is a lovely substrate too, barely any dust & nice & soft for the hams.
