Re: Ferplast Olimpia
I have seen these in real life and they are awful. The cage is far too small for a syrian including the tiny wheel is a plastic stuffy box and the actual cage bit at the bottom is the size of a tiny 'starter' cage. And this is what P@H is swapping the Cambridge for
Totally crazy.

Re: Ferplast Olimpia
Its hideous...I can't understand why Ferplast seem to have stopped some of their better cages (e.g. the duna hamster (big version of the mini duna) and are selling rubbish like this instead. Good choice with the cambridge!

Re: Ferplast Olimpia
I guess it does look different to most others out there and kids might like them as it's like a TV of hamster.
I can't see that there is any ventilation up top where they are supposed to run and sleep - wouldn't be very good in this weather!

Re: Ferplast Olimpia
stuff like this appeals to kids and if it appeals to kids it sells more and they make more money. That's all these people care about, not the animals! you'd think pets at home might have more sense but apparently not. I guess it's the same thing, stuff that appeals to kids and sells. Then if the hamster grows too big for the cage, they have to buy another and that makes more money... except most people don't buy a new cage and the poor ham is stuck (maybe literally) in that thing for life. I really don't understand why they can't make a cage that appeals to kids AND is large enough??
