Anyone tried this wheel?
I'm considering buying a new wheel for Jessie and I noticed this one on Zooplus: Small Pet Exercise Wheel | Free P&P on orders £29+ at zooplus!
Has anyone used one before and got any feedback that they'd like to share with me?

How does it compare to the Wodent Wheel? They look fairly similar but this one seems to be a bit cheaper.
She's got a Silent Spinner (older model) at the moment but she gets so carried away with her housekeeping that it's impossible to use it.

Re: Anyone tried this wheel?
I think they're the same as Trixie wheels aren't they? If so, Willow loves here and it hasn't been overly noisy, her comfort wheel was very very loud but I can sleep quite easily in a room whilst Willow runs on the Trixie

Re: Anyone tried this wheel?
Sweep has this wheel! In a horrid green and blue (you don't get to choose the color lol) He loves it, and it's not that noisy apart from when he put food in it and runs fast! It's the best wheel I've ever used, but then I haven't used that many! Sweep's didn't come off the stand too easily, and I had to get someone strong to pull it, but now it's fine. Easy to clean too as the front comes off easily! Only downside is it takes up a lot of room and the bit to attach it to the bars is too big for the Alexander! We put the stand under the substrate which also stops him chewing it!

Re: Anyone tried this wheel?
Lol, Willows is in grey and black, how I would've loved blue and black or red and black...:sigh:
Good point about bars there Pinkneon, mine fitted fine in Willows old cage with 1cm spacing but was a huge struggle in 8mm spacing so we left it free standing I think it's designed to fit through 1cm spacing, no smaller

That's worth knowing as Jessie's cage isn't all that big (we've tried to upgrade her and it didn't go down well).
Thanks for that.

Re: Anyone tried this wheel?
It is the Trixie wheel I'm sure. Just branded differently. I expect you'd be looking at the 20cm one for a dwarf hammy rather than the 28cm one that the Syrian owners have
There's also the Karlie Wonderland wood 20cm one (which is silent but needs plastikoting) or the 20cm wodent wheel, but both cost a bit more.

Re: Anyone tried this wheel?
Sweep says : "It is the bestest wheel EVER and I think Jessie would LOVE it - she will love it more if she puts food in it and then runs very fast as it makes plenty of lovly noise! Though apparetly human people don't like that much - but who cares?!"

Re: Anyone tried this wheel?
I think it's a bit flimsy compared to a wodent wheel but I haven't had one of those so not sure.
Another thing to watch out for is climbing on the spindle, I'm pretty sure Zephyr was doing that with hers, not sure how else she was chewing the label off from the centre! It's seemed a bit dangerous to me & I think the safest enclosed wheel for a Chinese is the silent runner which doesn't have anything inside to climb on.
