Hi,

Here is a link to where you can purchase the bins from, the link takes you to the largest size... http://www.reallyusefulproducts.co.uk/u ... 0litre.php , I haven't made a cage with this size but here is a example of a 64litre one...

I dunno about the mesh. I think you can get it from any hard ware store. My Dad had loads left over from the hutch years ago so i used that. I think the bolts are ok. Mine are in the lid and she can't get up that high. The other one i made with windows in the sides i used cable ties to tie them down so they couldn't hurt themselves.

I house my mice in "bin cages" I use a soldering iron to take big sections out of the tub (using masking tape as a rule) then I put mesh in - here's a good link for you

http://www.woodlandmousery.com/

Most of my tubs are 50litres

Inside Wersals Bin

Holes all around the sides

Top of lid. That blue stuff is Sticky back plastic stuff. Just to neaten up the edges

The washers inside the cage are exactly the same. The screws are really short so dont stick out the washer really and Wers cant reach them anyways

I got the tub, wire mesh, screws, washers and stickey back plastic from Wilkinsons. Cost me in total about £18. And I have tons of mesh left over for future bin makin too.
