Hello and welcome to HC

Do you have measurements for the size of the boxes? You do need to have 2 of everything if you plan to keep a pair in the same box, so 2 wheels, 2 water bottles etc. You also need to be prepared that they may fall out and need their own bin cages so you should have spare bins ready and waiting. Sorry if you know all this already but I'm not sure from your post if you already are keeping pairs or if you are still in the planning stages

Hello and welcome to HC!

This bin looks a bit small to me, but that could be a trick of the camera. Dimensions would help, as mentioned above. Make sure you have two of everything you get, and avoid getting hides that one hamster can corner another in. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask

Do you have the measurements? Pictures can be deceiving but they look very small to me.

I have a roborovski who lives alone in a cage just under 80 x 50cm which is as small as I would go for any hamster although I know that some people have set ups a bit smaller than that.

They love to dig. All mine have a paper based bedding called fitch. It holds tunnels well. Not sure where you are based so you may not be able to get hold of it.

Good luck with sorting out a lovely space for your hamsters.

Unfortunately, that bin is just a bit over 100 sq in (254 cm)- too small for even a single hamster. The minimum is 450 sq in, but somewhere in the 600-700 sq in range would be much better for a pair Not too big, but not too small! Bins aren't too expensive so you should probably be able to get a larger one for cheaper. What country are you in? Knowing that will help us to suggest more. Alternatively, you could use a 40 gallon breeder tank which will give you about 650 sq in of room. Whichever you choose, I'd personally recommend an upgrade

As for sexing them, I'll leave that to the more experienced dwarf owners, but here's a guide

Well, i am not planning on upgrading till i breed one pair and to that time i will upgrade to a very big one and sadly the box doesn't fit aa wheel so do you suggest i wait for my pair to breed then place a bigger box with 2 wheels (4 in total) or i should get started early ( like tomorrow)

PS. I live in KUWAIT

Have you done several months or years of research on breeding? Can you house all of the babies once they grow into adults if you can't find homes for them? Do you have a large sum of money saved up for potential vet trips in case something goes wrong with the mother and/or pups during and after the birth? Is there an exotic vet near you that can treat hamsters? Are you getting the parent hamsters from a professional breeder who knows their genetic backgrounds? All of these questions and many more are things you must ask yourself, and if the answer is no to any of them you aren't ready to breed. I don't mean this to come off as harsh at all but please realize that breeding is very serious and can easily result in the death of the mother or pups. I would highly discourage you from doing it unless you have done many months or even a couple years of research.

Just know the risks of breeding. It's very dangerous, and if done incorrectly can have fatal results. May i ask, why did you decide to breed your hamsters?

again I don't mean any of this to be harsh or rude, I'm sorry if it seems like that xxx

I have to second CR, breeding is a huuuge commitment. It takes many months- even years, of careful research. You should also ensure you have quality, and pedigreed stock. What species are you planning on breeding? Breeding is incredibly difficult, costly, and heartbreaking. Please consider just adopting another hamster instead! I'd recommend waiting, and researching as much as you physically can! You may also want to find a mentor to help you out, they'll really teach you a lot, and it's good to have an ally with you during your journey that is breeding Now another repercussion of breeding- and I don't at all mean this to be rude, but if you cannot tell the genders of your current pair, I fear you may have trouble telling the gender of your pups. If you can't properly sex the pups, they will likely breed with each other and you could end up with several pregnant mothers- each with 5+ pups of their own! Soon things get out of control, and that's not fair to you, nor the hamsters. Breeding may be something you should do, but perhaps a few years down the road. Research, reasearch, reasearch, and make sure you have a good budget set up
Best wishes
