How long are they?Hard to say since some Syrians are very long while others aren't.I'd say around an 8 inch wheel of any type for a 4 inch long Syrian. You pretty much divide the diameter in half by the length of your hamster and that helps a lot to get the perfect size

If you're worried about measuring them just get the largest size wheel. You could probably use a container though and see what they fit into and measure that instead.Might be a bit hard to get the best measurement though directly measuring the hamsters since hamsters aren't very fond of staying still

My two syrians have the 28cm Trixie's, best to get bigger rather than buy the 20cm ones only to find they're too small!

My syrians have the 28cm karlie wooden wheel (Woodstock and Gopal) and the 12 inch silent runner (Arun and soon Kashi).

The teenies (roborovskis Flower and Fairy) have the 8 inch karlie wooden wheel).

I used to have a trixie wheel for Woodstock but it was soooo rattly. Silent runners are pricey but are lovely and quiet.
