Aquarium tank hamster cage, levels?

So I just transferred Crystal into this huge aquarium tank and I was wondering if there was any way to put in shelves so I can make more levels for her. I was thinking about using a cabinet organizer for them but I worry if she crews on the metal or the coating on the metal it could harm her. Does anyone have any ideas? I would really appreciate it

i use like magazine holders for levels sometimes or other times i make some out of cardboard ill input a photo of magazine holder so you know what i mean.

The Knuff are magazine racks too

Here's an example of how people use them for shelves. I really like the ones with little dowels round the edges for fences.

I made one out of oak wood (cut to size by Home Depot) and dowels. The legs are made of big dowels and the fence is made of smaller dowels.

I was surprised too but it was on many safe woods list on multiple forums, including one provided on here.

It's because oak is hardwood I think, not a softwood? But I'm not totally sure on the reasoning behind it.
