Talking First time buying online!

Soooooo I did it! I went "shopping" online! I know that it seems a little weird, but I like to see and touch things before I buy them. But I really want to try hemp bedding,( I am working now and I don't have time for scissoring )and the best price is in zooplus.(zooplus.de, zooplus.es is more expensive. Why?)
Well, I bought 14 kg of hemp bedding (I hope Pizca likes it), 3 little houses, a new wheel (you never have too many trixie wheels, he, he) a pair of toys... I spent too much money, but I feel happy and a little proud of myself
My german is even worse than my english, but I think that my things are on their way.
Happy, happy, happy!

Excellent! I quite like it as I hate traipsing around shops and there aren't many shops near us anyway lol. The only hassle is if you need to return something, so it helps to do your research before buying, which it sounds like you have done

Yes, I did my research! I bought things that I cannot find in a shop here in Toledo, but I loved when I saw them in youtube. Ohhh I can't wait! The trixie leif!!

I didn't know you were in Toledo! Lovely place to live. German Amazon can sometimes be cheaper as well but you have to watch the postage costs.

Lol! Don't spend too much! The Leif house is great - part of it has a solid floor in and the rest of the floor is open - apparently the solid bit can be knocked out quite easily - it's better if it's open on top of the substrate and easier to spot clean (ie no wood base to get pee stained) plus they like burying hoards in the substrate under their nest and can't do that with a solid floor.

Have you seen Rodipet if you're looking at things in Germany? They have some great labyrinth house (better than the Leif but cost slightly more).

This one looks nice for a dwarf hamster - there are two versions - one with the inset terracotta food bowl and one with just a plain lid and no food bowl. There's a little video of it further down the page.

It has rooms - for nesting, for hoards and for a potty

https://www.rodipet.de/shop/haeuser/...erracotta.html

The Germans reckon houses need rooms in them and our hamster certainly likes having his potty in his house.

Now the Rodipet shop makes me want to spend money urgh!

Oh sorry! I didn't realise you'd already bought the Leif! It's nice too! At least you've saved some money Sounds like you are really enjoying getting stuff for your hammy - I enjoy it more than getting stuff for myself. Erm just realised I can never afford to get stuff for myself now.

I did not buy a leif! I bought two! Because in the summer I live half time in my house (not properly Toledo, but a village wich belongs to Toledo) and half time in my parent's house; I work in Madrid, and their house is closer. My Pizca comes with me everywhere, and I buy everything in pairs, because I don't want to stress her too much. She has two cages which are almost identical, same accesories, same distribution... So, I regret the leif twice, LOL!!
Yes, I love to buy things for my little girl, more than for me. She is very curious, and she likes to smell different things and play with new toys. So once or twice a month I put something new for her in the cage

I need clothes for the summer but I'd rather spend money on hammie sand baths

I think that's lovely that you make her two homes identical!
