Is this sand bath safe?

Hi, so i bought a hamster toilet for my dwarf and inside it includes a white "sand" and im wondering if its safe for him. It doesnt say what kind of sand. I tried to introduce it to him and he didnt eat it. He just sniffed it and left it alone. Thank you.

I've absolutely no idea, I'm afraid! Do they have a website that might have more information? If he's not eating it it might be okay so long as it's not dusty. Doesn't look a huge bag to get through. Maybe you could pick up some children's play sand to use after if you're worried? I'm guessing where you are it can be a little difficult to find certain hamster supplies x

There's no knowing what that sand might be so if you're unsure about it you could use play sand (I think you need to dry that out in the oven though) as velma suggested or for a toilet rather than a sand bath you can just put some substrate in there.

It should be ok if he isn't eating it. It won't last long as most toilets/potties come with sand or some kind of litter.
