Hamster Run?
Is it worth while make a small extension off a hamster cage to make a little run/play pen for a hamster? Obviously using small mesh ect. Would a hamster benefit/enjoy a large space off their cage? Or would it just be daunting for them to use? I really want to buy a wooden cage and build a run off it using pvc perplex sort of glass/plastic or mesh. Do you guys think that it would be a good idea. There would be no noise, children or animals that would scare them, but im not sure if they would like large open space? If i were to build one would it be better to fill with toys so its a little more full and no as open? Sorry for all the questions in one post haha, thanks

Re: Hamster Run?
It will be like a playpen, but joined to the cage so the hamster could come out and go back into their cage when they like (supervised though). It would be especially useful before a hamster is tame.
Toys etc will make it more enjoyable for the hamster. It would need to be secure and have a lid unless it is only used while you are watching the hamster.
