That's great! The package comes with a little mini washer, I stopped using that cause after the weight of running on it the washer was getting embedded in the screw.

You obviously need all the other parts but e-bay didn't send me a washer so that's how I knew it wasn't necessary. ( I bought one from Sugar Gliders on e-bay who didn't send the washer)

Not talking about the inch long hollow metal part, just the ring...

Exotic nutrition sent me the washer so if you bought yours from there you'll see what I mean. You can use it, but it gets jammed after a short while

I did a video review of the 12" one which might help with assembly I didn't have a washer with mine. It came with the bolt that goes through the centre of the wheel - the metal 'spacer' and a wing nut. You also get the bolt, spacer and wing nut with the bar fixing plates.

Sugar Gliders from e-bay doesn't include washers, just exotic nutrition. ..bar attachments are sold separately

Serendipity didn't get washer so they aren't necessary in my opinion, (proves my point lol) but yeah, she has a whole thread or two on this wheel and the good video!

Almost returned mine cause of the washer getting jammed, otherwise wouldn't be any big deal?

That was fast! Post if you need any set-up help? Don't make screw too tight or wheel won't spin as easy. Also, don't get back panel wet (ball bearings part, the center of the wheel)

They told me to put baby oil, or vegetable oil (q-tip) into bearings Everytime you wash the wheel.

Just FYI news

Keep us updated! How exciting!

So I recorded a video of her trying to use it. It seems like she struggles to push it. Or slipping somehow.

So I learned she's able to push it if she uses the tread part. Some reason she's trying to use the far back part that's black. That has no tread

I'm a little confused, is she pushing off the back panel instead of the actual yellow track? What species of hamster do you have? Any species maybe even a robo should be able to move it?

Are you sure the bearings have oil in them, your not using the washer & the lug nut isn't too tight?

The wheel should spin freely! Also, do you have it assembled correctly? I assembled mine wrong at first & ran into trouble. Keep updating?
