Default wanting bigger cage

i only got my hamster yesterday but already realise that the cage she came with is going to be far too small when shes full grown. i like the look of the savic cambridge, is this a good size for a full grown syrian?

Yes the Cambridge is a great cage for an adult syrian. Another good choice is the Imac Fantasy.

yeah, it's a really good cage, i have 4. The Hamster Heaven is also good, but expensive. Cambridges come up quite often on ebay and are usually cheaper than the shops, even with postage costs added. Personally, i wasn't much for the imac fantasy.

Hi,
i had the same problem. In the end i chose Cambridge because
1. it was easier to get it in Central Europe
2. it has bars and my hamster does not chew them so thats ok
3. no tubes in Cambridge. I dont think i like them and my dwarf hamster could have problems climbing up them, so i decided i like ladders more

ps: you can read that its hard to get the shelves in the cambridge to their place, but its easier once you put it together for the first time
