Is this a good cage?

Hi,
I had put my hamster in this cage because he in the other cage he only slept in the tubes.
But is this cage suitable on a Winter White dwarf hamster? He's 6 weeks old.

It still looks a bit small & the bar spacing looks as though it may be too big, it needs to be no more than 1cm spacing for a dwarf ham.
Do you know the measurements for the cage & bars?

I think that's just the picture cause I think that it's like 1cm. I doesnt looks so much space in real but idk the measurements for it.

We have a bigger cage but that with tubes and then he stays in there. So I don't have anything else & my parents dont want to spend more money on cages bc that cage with tubes was already €48 euro.

I'd check the spacing to be sure, otherwise even if it's on the small side it would be better than your ham living in those unhealthy tubes.
Is there any way you can remove the tubes from the bigger cage? Sometimes you can get blockers to go over holes where tubes are but it depends on the cage you have I guess.

I agree that it looks a little small. Is the other cage bigger? I'm sure some people will have useful tips on how to stop your ham from sleeping in the tubes all the time. I had a hamster about 7 years ago that slept in tubes. I offered him more hiding spaces and he stopped making his nest in there.

I just commented on your other post then saw this one but if your hamster is only 6 weeks old, did you buy the cage with tubes at the same time? Maybe you could return the cage or get a store credit for food & bedding, etc.

Or even save for a bigger cage, extra work for an allowance, don't know how old you are but see if your mom would be willing to learn the best hamster care for your new pet?

What are the dimensions for this Cage. The minimum for hamsters for America is 60x50x40, Most of Europe is 80x50x50, A Germany (still in Europe) is 100x50x50 but recommend 200x200 to get their natural habitat going. My dwarf hamsters are in a 80x50x50 Savic Sky Blue, and they seem very entertained but there are 3 in there. I have a PetsatHome "large" cage for 1 dwarf hamster that fights with the other dwarfs and the dimensions are roughly 60x40x30, and she seems quite happy in there.

We bought the cage two weeks before we bought the hamster bc they didn't had any more Dwarf hamster and I wanted one so we had to wait.
I'm 16, I don't think that my parents want to go back to the store and return it. They don't really care about animals / don't like them.

I don't know the dimensions of the cage but I thiink its a lot smaller then 80X50X50
