Cable/Zip Tie Chewer!!!
Recently moved my hamster into a DIY bin and his new way to wake me up at 2AM is chewing the cable ties. Im worried he'll damage his teeth and continue to keep me up.
Any tricks/solutioms to this?

It's okay to chew unless he does not actually inget parts of the cable ties. The plastic may be sharp and injure him.

Hmm he'll be letting himself out of the windows soon! Has he got other stuff to chew? And enough substrate to dig in and stuff to keep him busy in other ways? He is so cute btw!

Re: Cable/Zip Tie Chewer!!!
Replace the Zip ties with wire or bolts, washers, and nuts(use a small drop of super glue on the nuts on the OUTSIDE washer) if not done soon he'll be out and a free ham.

Nothing to add except to agree with Nancy about switching the cable ties for bolts and washers as soon as possible!
Rumple however is the cutest little fluff!! Just look at that little face!

Re: Cable/Zip Tie Chewer!!!
Rumple is lovely.
You can get metal cable ties which would be a quick easy option.
