Default Question about Carefresh.

I used to use hammie-safe shavings for my syrian, but when I saw some Carefresh bedding I thought I'd give it a go.
However, my baby's got an 8.5in Comfort wheel which fits in her new Imac fantasy with millimetres to spare, so the Carefresh gets stuck under her wheel so she has to run almost upright to get it to move! Sometimes it even overlaps INTO the wheel... So I don't know what to do. I could reduce the depth of the Carefresh, but then it doesn't quite cover the base plastic. Anyone got any ideas?

If the wheel runs better with the shavings I would be inclined to use these over most of the cage and just use carefresh in the wet corners. That is what we do as the carefresh is nice and absorbant and easy to scoop out and replace regularly in the wet corners. It lasts longer that way too

ooh that's odd. I use carefresh and comfort wheel without problems. You may already do this, but what i do is put the wheel in without any bedding and then put the carefresh in afterwards and just push a little bit of carefresh under the wheel, on top of the stand but not so it's touching the actual running wheel.
