Re: Need inspiration for zoozone layout
This might give you a better idea of what it looks like - in Charlie's cage on the right

Re: Need inspiration for zoozone layout
You have one of those amazing wheels!!! I'd like the rat sized one for my girls because been told that they are the only suitable ones for rats (it's super safe and doesn't have the middle bit) what's Charlie think of it?

Re: Need inspiration for zoozone layout
He loves it! I haven't seen him having a good run in it yet as he only seems to do it at night, but he went straight into it when he first went in the cage, and kind of walked in it a bit (I'd put food in to tempt him in but he ignored the food so it just rattled and he just meandered in it). It was the happy look on his face that made me know he liked it It certainly spins very well and I really like it attached to the bars (the bar attachment was about £5 extra though) as you can put it at whatever height you want or anywhere in the cage you want.

Re: Need inspiration for zoozone layout
The sugarglider site sell them. They were out of stock when I wanted mine but found it on ebay (another sugarglider person from Devon) - although it cost £1 extra there. It isn't cheap at £24.99 (but then neither is the 12" Kaytee Silent Spinner!) and the cage fittings are plus another £5.00 and then there's another £5.99 for postage. (Actually maybe the postage was cheaper on the ebay one so it probably cost about the same). So total £35.98. I paid £32.45 including the cage fitting and postage on ebay so slightly cheaper in the end.
Here it is on the sugarglider site anyway. They tend to sell wheels already put together, whereas mine needed putting together when it arrived.
Silent Runner 12"
And this is the ebay seller
Wheel
Exotic Nutrition SILENT RUNNER 12" wheel and accessories - Sugar Glider | eBay
Cage fitting
Exotic Nutrition SILENT RUNNER 12" wheel and accessories - Sugar Glider | eBay
The sugarglider site also sell the 9" one. Not sure what that would be good for - a bit big for a dwarf hamster, although probably ok as it is light and would do instead of an 8" wodent wheel. A bit small for a syrian, although it might be ok for a small syrian.

Re: Need inspiration for zoozone layout
Thanks very much for that. When I'm feeling a bit richer I might have to borrow someone's eBay I wouldn't have known that you needed that extra part to fix it to the cage either
