Default Sliding down the ramp!

A few weeks before Neptune's op, I noticed he slides a bit down his ramp. His nails are fine, I think its just the ramp in the Alexander cage is a bit slippy!

Any suggestions on products to use, if there are any safe ones, so it makes it easier for him.

Thank you x

You could put something under the bottom end to make the ramp less steep, a bendy bridge or hidey house for instance.

You could even put little sides on it to stop him falling off (as long as that doesnt make it too narrow for his fullsomeness).

Hi flowerfairy.....the ramp isn't that steep to be honest and I had put extra Fitch underneath. He tends to just slide down it!

At the moment his cage hasn't got the shelves in as he's recovering but hoping to get his cage back to normal soon as his healing is going incredible well.

PS....yes need to think of his fulsomeness!! Ha ha!!!

I've used little dowel pins to glue on to flat ladders/ramps to make them easier to use, quick to do & works well.

I was about to say pretty much the same as cypher but maybe using wooden drink stirrers? My dad using them for the odd craft project. Next time you're in Costbucks, pick up a couple extra, it's a good excuse for a coffee!

Maybe he just likes to slide? I have had hamsters that would slide down things run back up and do it over and over.

Mine had the same problem with the barney cage ramps, I glued wooden lolly sticks from the £ shop to them. Problem solved!
