It`s good when you already know they don`t bar chew! I have my wee Russian hybrid in a second hand Gabber Rex (roughly the same size as the Zoozone 1) and I`ve had a Chinese hamster and two single robos housed in this cage before Chubs and they all loved it. It`s seem better days but hey, I don`t suppose the hamsters mind! Remember too you can use shelving inside the tank-style cages and play around with the layout. The grill on top of narrow spaced and secure too. x

I always thought bar chewing was more of a problem with syrians & quite unusual in dwarfs, I've never had a problem with that, there are pros & cons with both cage styles but I think everyone knows what I prefer by now lol!

I really wish they made the gabber rex still, i'd love the clear base! I can't have glass as Little Miss might break it and hurt herself/hamster.

I'm not limited on height for Nibble's cage but I am for the second one because of a sloping ceiling. The spots I've picked are the only two without direct sunlight on them. The multy maxi is a perfect height for it, and we can make some platforms to go inside it quite easily.

There's also the 100cm Mamble! I think Cypher has both (Mamble and Borneo 100cm) - which do you prefer Cypher? I have heard reports that the Mamble is a bit of a pig to put together though and not that well made.

I definitely prefer the Borneo over the Mamble, it's a lot more sturdy when put together, the top is easier to get on & off when you need to, the one big door is better than the two good size but still smaller ones & the Mamble doors rattle, I use to clip mine shut as it drove me nuts when Zephyr ran in her wheel! The Mamble really is tall too.

It's the one big door on the Borneo I'm drawn to, the Alaska has it and it's so handy.

Aargh the maxi multy is so hard to get hold of!

Actually Amazon were selling it reduced recently! Oh shame it's gone up to £74! It was on at £53 the other day.

Porton Aquatics are selling it for £69.99

Cage Maxi Duna Multy

Miscota sell it cheaper (£58.82 and £1.99 postage) but I think it takes ages to arrive (might even come from Spain). And you have to do a bank transfer or something to pay for it.

Ha typical! I might just ask my local pet shop to get me one in if I can't find one online at a discount.

Miscota sound a nightmare to deal with, I can't be doing with international bank transfers they're so expensive!
