Default Russian Dwarf Hamsters

Heya
Me again and my questions I think I know the answer already to my question but I wanted other hamster owners views on it

So my question is

Is Luke Jr OK to live on his own or does he need company to live a happy healthy life?

Thanks
Vicki

They don't need company at all, technically in the wild they can live in semi-social groups so they can be kept together in certain specific circumstances but they live perfectly happily alone and a lot of pairs fall out and need to be separated eventually anyway. Now Luke is used to having his bachelor pad all to himself he would view any other ham as an intruder

Pretty much what Shannon said!
Russian hams are sometimes kept in pairs but it's not easy & they often need to be separated at some point, you couldn't introduce another ham to Luke now, pairs need to be same sex siblings that have never been apart.
The only company he needs is you!

Thank you didn't want to be mean and keep him on his own if they liked company as I hate being on my own lol

I'm sure he's happy to have all the cuddles to himself
