I think the Barney is a great choice Katkin! If I lived in the UK, that's probably what I would have.
Like cypher said, you can't get Marchioro cages there, but for some reason we can get them here in the States. I have a Goran which is very similar to the Kevin that cypher mentioned. The biggest difference are the accessories, color of the cage, and the bar spacing. The kevin is 7 mm I think, and the Goran is 12.5 mm. I think the strong points of the Marchioro cages are the huge front doors, but they are 82 x 50 cm. The Barney is 100 cm long. That will be a great cage! I'm sure your hamster will love it!
