Question Cage re arrangement

Would it be better to leave things and toys in the cage exactly at the same position as before I clean it or it doesn't matter?

I wouldn't move or rearrange things in the cage unless you really need to for some reason, once things are set up in a way your ham likes it's best not to interfere too much!

I generally try and leave all the important things in the same place like nest box or house, food, water, wheel etc. A big clean is going to annoy them, but it's unavoidable, so if you're going to switch toys out or move things a lot do that maybe a week or so before or after a clean so you're not changing everything all at once?

I leave his house, food bowl, water bottle and wheel at the same place. I change his toys most of the time. Some times I have his little rainbow bridge in the cage some other times I give him his see saw. Sometimes I have different size of tubes. Thought changing his cage toys from time to time will keep him entertained longer. Thoughts?

It is nice to give new toys occasionally but I would recommend that you only change one thing at a time and then once you have made a change, leave it that way for a while. Hamsters are very much creatures of habit and they follow their scent trails, so changes do upset them.
Try just making one change a month and letting your ham enjoy the alteration before the next change.
