Wire mesh for bin cage

Anyone who has made a bin cage or adapted a guinea pig cage - what did you use to put in the lid for ventilation or to
cover the wire lid, for example on a zoozone cage, and where did you get it from. Thank you!

You should be able to obtain suitable meshing from a Hardware store. Even B&Q should have some.

Some garden centres /fencing centres stock sheets or rolls of the fine squared weldmesh or DIY shops like B&Q or homebase also likely stock it.
