Looks amazing, I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out, and to meeting your new little one!

omg hiii! yes that's me i haven't been on there in a year or more since having my little boy, Florence was the one i found Its about 3 years since i found her now, she's feisty as ever a grumpy miss but we love her to bits she's the last of my 4 gerbs. Here's a photo my hubby took of her last week Image - TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting X

I'm going to get a saucer but if it comes down to is i have spare gerbilariums *sniffles* so i can attach a topper for height by a SS wheel

I'll post up photos of each step as i improve it hopefully, I'm going to head to Wilkinson tomorrow morning and get some of their 'cage mesh' and try and do a woodless lid with metal corner brackets for support as i don't drive it's looking like a nightmare to get the wood i wanted, delivery aswell!... someplaces wanted a £25 large order P+P fee when the wood cost £4odd.. PFFT!

SO! Check back tomorrow and maybe i'll have achieved a lid haha, might not being until the evening UK time though depends on how 'helpful' my toddler is x

It's lovely seeing a photo of Florence. She looks really well. I'm so glad you found her.

Have you tried Wickes for the wood. Their delivery charge is £5.95 for standard items but I don't known if your wood counts as standard. Still a bit much if you're only buying something for £4 but they do sell mesh as well if you can't get what you want in Wilkinson's.

The cage is going to be amazing. I love that you've planned where everything goes already

I've had three gerbils pass at just gone 3 years, one at 2.5 and little grumpy flo who we think will out live us all

Just picked up my wire! Two rolls for £6 which isn't bad , it feels really sturdy too

This has gone so so soooo quickly, i spent about 1.5 hours and have almost finished! I've ran out of cable times though ,... DOH! So i'm going to nip out for some more after lunch but he's my photos i took a few

This is how i'm holding most of the shape securely

And this is what i have right now, the unfinished side

Should be finished later today It's abit wobbly in appearance but i'm going to try and straighten that out, it came on a roll though ! so it's not surprising
