Default Freddy cage

With a lot of help from my ds (who's fingers are more nimble than mine) and a bit of inspiration from Hanlou's cage on another thread we have finally adapted Jimbo's freddie, It includes 3 ferplast corner shelves, 2 chin leap ledges, a cargo net, and numerous bits of shelves etc salvages from various old cages that i had inherited & kept "just in case"
I am fairly sure we have all large drops covered but please feel free to shout at me if i have missed any

the gentleman in question luuuurves his new home and has been on the go non stop since 4 o'clock this afternoon.

It looks fantastic!

Am so pleased you were able to gain a little inspiration from my set-up, lol. It looks very safe to me - am very sure your hamster will be in total *heaven*!!

Bits and bobs from other cages always come in handy don't they?! I have a huge grey storage box full of all kinds of things from toys to ropes to just, stuff! They all come in eventually!

The great thing about the Freddy is it's versatility too - you can change set-ups as much as you like. It does lend itself to spending way too much money on toys etc though!

Jimbo is well chuffed with his new abode, but i think sitting next to him in her "tiny cambridge", mavis is very jealous, (it does look very inadequate next to his home) just need to decide what i want for her, i was set on a hamster heaven but am very quickly going towards a zoo zone 2.....or do i wait to see if i can get another cheep fredddy. have been v spoilt with the freddy as it only cost £18 from ebay
hmmmm decisions decisions
