hi i was looking today online at hammy toys and saw a extention kit for the cages my boys have. the imac fantasy. i got the idea to have a hunt to see if i can find any cheap and i did!
tesco are selling them for £13-49p and they are normally around £22.99. they are stopping selling the cage and that is now sold out but the extentions are still available and reduced!
im happy with that! there is a delivery charge if you have them delivered which makes 2 £31-72 delivered. or you can opt to collect them from your nearest tesco.
I ordered the cage and an extension a couple of weeks back! They are great in fact I ordered after midday on a Sunday and they came on the Monday afternoon, so expect a delivery tomorrow!! Such a bargain hey? I was going to get another cage but I saw they said they had been discontinued!
ow cool, do yours like having the extra space??? mine have both been in theirs for a year already. am wondering how big its going to make the cage once i put together. we shall see when it comes. hopefully it will be here soon although we have a lot of snow and the roads are bad so may delay it. will let you know what they think to it when i set them up!
right ive got the extentions. think my boys are enjoying their new middle floor!!!! lol
ellis lives in the left cage and edgar lives in the right cage, ellis has a big ball in his cage as he wont use wheels. fussy boy! they sleep in their attics in the bedroom area. i give them loads of bedding!
thanks haziebabie. on the side of your cage do you have problems clipping the middle area together? the clips dont seem to stretch over the plastic floor section to the bars below.? on the middle floor. x
Yeah the clips are crap. I think I over stretched mine on one side trying to get it tight. To get them to fit I just fiddled and faffed, moving them up and down till they reached the lower half's bars okay. I decided in the end as long as the top plastic unit is tight then they couldn't lift up any of the other sections even if the wanted to.
yeah i find they work in the other places but the clip to hold the middle bit doesnt work! im sure they couldnt lift it up but it would be better if it worked! x
found a bargin and had to order it!!!!
