Talking Duna Multy just Arrived!

I've just had the Ferplast Duna Multy cage delivered and I've opened it to have a look!
I wasn't going to make a post about it until it was all ready for a new hamster addition but it looks so good I had to share lol

It's a lot bigger than I expected it to be and the colour they sent me is really nice. It's a very dark brown almost black, which is great for me because it matched my bedroom and I'm all about things matching haha
Can't wait to start decorating

(Oh and please excuse the messy floor, Stanley decided to kick all his bedding out this morning )

Hurrah! I really like that cage. And ah, the good ol' mystery of "what colour will I get?". I didn't know it came in that colour. Nice when it's the one you wanted. Mine is red but that's okay as that was the colour I wanted too!

Haha yes, I had 'colours may vary' nerves. I had no idea it came in this colour either, I was expecting the red one

That looks great, very smart! It's got a lovely deep base for bedding as well. Bet you'll have fun filling in with toys for your new arrival! What sort of ham are you hoping to get?

Thanks I want to get another dwarf!
It's actually quite hard to fill up because the placement for the water bottle is a bit strange and there is no platforms or anything but it's still great, you just have to be a bit more creative haha

Anyone have any ideas on how I could get some kind of platform? Whether it be make one that is relatively easy or buy one?

There's a guide to making a shelf from an IKEA file sorting thingy (sorry I don't know the proper name)

I think it's an Ikea knuff. There are threads in the DIY section. I think DrKMcK might have made one? Or both ErinsHamsters & HoppingHammy on youtube have made platforms. I've got a corner resin terrarium decoration thing in mine to put the food bowl on. And I used to put Hector's on top of his wooden corner house. You could even just rest a flat bendy bridge across a couple of hide n seek cubes. And the best thing is how deep you make the substrate

the ikea platforms looks so good but I don't think I'll be able to get to my local shop anytime soon :/ wish I had a car for times like this lol
Has anyone ever made any cardboard platforms? I have a ton of cupboard now haha
