That's so good that your local pet shop is ordering it in, I've never seen it in any shops actually

Oh I'm obviously not using enough substrate
In his Mini Duna the base of the sputnik is about 3/4 inches from the floor but it's half over the shelf and then a toy under it so if he did jump/fall, he wouldn't go straight to the floor.
I just can't wait to get it and get him settled properly. I feel awful having him in the Mini Duna. I was told it was fine for Syrians at the pet shop but was told on here that it wasn't and intially I planned to just have him in it until he's fully grown but he's only 12 weeks old and it's clear he's already outgrown it. Poor little man! Just hope he likes the extra space in the Maxi Duna. Sure he will
Have you got two water bottles attached in both the holes?? Or what have you blocked the other one up with if not??
Sorry again for millions of questions. New hammy owner and having already done LOADS wrong in the two weeks I've had him, I really want to start over and do everything right from now on, starting with the bigger cage!
