Hmm... I think I like the first one a bit better because its pink, hehe.

But they do look like they'd both be a challenge to clean..

I like the Rotastak more than the Crittertrail - those things seem so small to me, and I've heard really bad stuff about them generally.

I still reckon rotastak is a bit of a rip-off, though. They look so big, but there's not as much floor area for the hamster as you'd think. I only keep my guy in one because that's all he'll take. They suck to clean, too.

The tubes are not ventilated and quite a narrow gauge too in the Rotastak setups. Crittertrail are awful, badly designed, and often dangerous to hamsters. I have had a number of rescues come in with injuries inflicted by Crittertrails

From the two cages you've shown I think the Rotastak one is better as its much bigger but as babyboos said it isn't well ventilated. I used to own a Rotastack and found that although they appear big and bulky - our little hammies don't seem to have much floor space to roam

I would really recommend a cage with a big deep rectangular base and some other levels to explore. Ferplast do a great range of cages - one of the best being the Rainbow Bridge cage!! My friend has it and there is lots of room!

I use Ferplast Rainbow Cages for all my Syrians though finding it hard to locate them without placing special orders. They used to be on eBay all the time too but not seen one for a while.

she has already got a big cage with 3 levels and tubes, etc. but I just wanted to treat her to something new. I do really like the Rotastak one but just wanted to know what everyone else thought!

thanks!!!

Neither - there are many reasons I think Rotastak are bad cages, and Crittertrails are nothing short of horrendous!
