Default question about bedding

well its nearly time to get my new hammy i collect him tomorrow night. i have everything ready except for bedding. i was told to use cheap toilet paper and shred it, but is that ok? will it not stick (or dissolve) in their pouch? ive got megazorb for the main cage flooring which i was recommended to use.

just want to make sure i have everything right for him

Well I use torn up toilet or kitchen tissue for my hamsters and have done for a few years now! Ive got over 30 hamsters and have never had a problem with it.
the hamsters seem to find it comfortable and warm, and to enjoy shredding it even further!

Congratulations on the new arrival, not long now - you must introduce him when you get chance

I find that Issac likes to have about 4 kleenex to stuff in his house (he's a Syrian by the way). He seems quite happy with it since he can tear up if he likes, move it around and mold it quite easily.
